Ceramics and its Dimensions was a project that examined European ceramics from the perspectives of the past as well as the future, with its new possibilities. The project lasted four years (2014 – 2018) and had partner institutions in eleven different countries in Europe. The project was co-funded through the Creative Europe programme of EU and coordinated by Porzellanikon Staatliches Museum für Porzellan, Hohenberg a. d. Eger / Selb, Germany.
Ceramics and its Dimensions: Shaping the Future (Module 6) formed one of the ten modules (sub-projects) of the project and was led by Aalto University, School of Art, Design and Architecture, Department of Design (Helsinki, Finland). The sub-project consisted of an experimental workshop, a touring exhibition and a publication. It was co-funded by the Finnish Ministry of Education and Culture.
